Qualifications: - BA or MS in Early Childhood Education OR be on a study plan towards receiving a BA or MS in ECE - Must have DOH requirements including, mandated reporter, and willing to have background check/fingerprint done. The Assistant Director of Youth Services plays a vital role in supporting the overall mission of the Shorefront Y, fostering year-round youth engagement, cultivating teen leadership, planning and managing day camp programming that reflect Jewish values, ensuring impactful experiences for campers, teens and staff. Key Responsibilities Camp Leadership · Design and implement a comprehensive camp curriculum that aligns with Jewish traditions, values, and culture. · Ensure the integration of a variety of activities such as music, arts, science, sports and more into the daily camp experience. · Mentor youth interested in joining camp staff in leadership roles, preparing them for future positions within the camp structure and beyond. · Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and provide ongoing mentorship to specialists, ensuring they are prepared for their roles. · Provide support to the Camp Director with day-to-day operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and logistics. · Act as a liaison between campers, parents, staff, and community partners to address concerns and provide clear communication. · Assist in marketing and outreach efforts to promote camp enrollment and program success. · Step into the role of Camp Director when needed during their absence. Description The Research Program Coordinator I assists in the development of research protocol designs, management, data analyses and assistance to Principal Investigators with the preparation of basic sciences research activities. This position is responsible for laboratory research administration. Responsibilities Provides assistance and consultation on basic research methodologies and statistical analysis issues. Participates in the primary analysis of evaluation datasets. Documents and records observations on progress of research, investigations, and data per regulatory requirements and MSMC protocols. Assists Principal Investigators (PI) and study team members offers guidance on research methods and techniques. Provides assistance to the Principal Investigator or Research Manager on grant applications. Completes all Institutional Animal Care and Use (IACUC) and other regulatory applications and renewals. Develops policies and procedures within area of responsibility. Maintain a working knowledge of regulations and policies related to animal welfare most importantly the Animal Welfare Act, Animal Welfare Act Regulations, PHS Policy, USDA, and the Guide for the care and Use of Laboratory Animals.
