Serving approximately 300 girls annually across Miami-Dade County, we provide high-quality, research-informed programming that supports academic achievement, leadership development, and social-emotional growth. Through direct service in elementary, middle, and high schools, we equip girlsparticularly those from under-resourced communitieswith the knowledge, skills, and confidence to navigate challenges and create positive change in their lives and communities. Job Description The Program Coordinator, ES plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality, consistent programming that positively impacts the lives of girls across our partner elementary schools. This position blends leadership, coaching, and operational excellence: supporting facilitators, overseeing enrollment and student data systems, and stepping in to lead programming when needed to ensure girls consistently receive high-quality support. The role is primarily based in person and requires travel to school sites throughout the county, in order to build strong relationships with facilitators, school partners, and families. Occasional work-from-home mornings or days are scheduled as appropriate. This role is ideal for a highly organized leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is motivated by both operational excellence and direct impact with girls and facilitators. While this summary reflects the core focus of the position, it is not comprehensive; as a small and collaborative team committed to our mission, the Program Coordinator may be called upon to support additional organizational needs to ensure we holistically show up for girls. Qualifications Required Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of experience working with groups of youth in a school or after-school setting., • First-hand knowledge of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) principles, trauma-informed practices, and effective classroom management strategies, with the ability to apply and model these approaches in practice., • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, track detailed processes, and consistently follow through on deadlines., • Strong organizational systems and a highly structured approach to managing tasks, data, and communication., • Comfort working across multiple digital platforms (attendance systems, student information systems, Google Workspace, Canva, communication tools, etc.)., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional communication with families and school partners., • Ability to work primarily in person at various school sites throughout Miami-Dade county, with a reliable personal vehicle., • Ability to meet the physical demands of school-based programming, including standing for extended periods, moving between multiple school sites, lifting and transporting program materials (up to approximately 50 pounds), and actively engaging with students during activities., • Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience overseeing enrollment processes or managing student data systems., • Experience leading professional development or training workshops., • Experience coordinating events, field trips, or school-based initiatives., • Experience supervising, coaching, or supporting staff or facilitators Key Responsibilities Facilitator Coaching & Program Quality: (45%) • Operate with a high level of independence while maintaining strong communication and alignment with leadership., • Serve as the primary instructional and operational lead for facilitators across five school sites., • Lead and deliver facilitator training workshops and team huddles., • Monitor facilitator performance and provide direct feedback to ensure program expectations are consistently met., • Review lesson plans and materials to ensure readiness and alignment with program expectations., • Support classroom management strategies and monitor overall program quality across sites., • Step in to lead and facilitate programming when staff are absent or when additional coverage is needed. Enrollment & Student Data Systems Management: (30%) • Oversee all enrollment processes, including family communication, onboarding, and student registration., • Own the integrity and accuracy of all student data systems, ensuring compliance, consistency, and accountability across sites., • Monitor attendance trends and follow up with families and school partners as needed., • Ensure timely and accurate completion of required data entry, testing documentation, and reporting deadlines. Program Operations & Special Initiatives: (25%) • Coordinate logistics for field trips, parent nights, assessments, surveys, and partner deliverables., • Manage supply distribution, materials tracking, and program orders., • Support implementation of program-specific requirements and initiatives, including testing cycles, partner presentations, and survey administration., • Assist with major annual and seasonal efforts, including staff orientation, program launch preparation, and summer camp planning., • Transition to a primarily on-site role during the summer months to coordinate daily summer camp operations, support staff, and ensure program quality Who This Role Is For: • A highly organized professional who thrived on creating systems and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks., • A leader who enjoys coaching adults and supporting their growth., • Someone energized by being present in schools and building relationships with girls, families, and staff., • A structured thinker who can balance multiple priorities without becoming overwhelmed., • A mission-driven professional who believes deeply in supporting and positively impacting the lives of girls.
