Our team is looking for people in York, NE who are ready to contribute to the success of a project by assisting the onsite team in all duties related to the design, assembly and construction of structures using raw materials and the appropriate hand or power tools. This position will assist commercial construction projects by creating layouts, reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting raw materials and helping with pre-con install. Primary duties center around assisting the foreman or superintendent in keeping a jobsite running efficiently and safely. Specific tasks may include building scaffolding, joining structural components with the aid of nails, screws or adhesives, constructing frames / structures to assist in pouring concrete, and other duties related to carpentry work. The ability to work productively with others, maintain open lines of communication and demonstrate problem-solving skills are all attributes we seek from successful applicants.
