Job Description Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Home Every Night | Local Routes (150-mile radius) Position Overview: A local delivery operation in Lincoln is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join the team. This role involves transporting wall panels, roof trusses, and door panels to construction sites using trucks equipped with mounted forklifts. Drivers operate independently, maintain delivery documentation, and ensure timely, damage-free deliveries. Key Responsibilities: • Operate semi-trucks with mounted forklifts and pull trailers with two or more axles, • Deliver bulky and heavy construction materials in compliance with DOT regulations, • Load/unload materials at job sites (using forklift or assisted by site personnel), • Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures, • Keep driver logs (ELD) and forms up to date per DOT standards, • Conduct vehicle inspections and report any issues or incidents, • Communicate with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery-related concerns, • 2015 Peterbilt (Manual), • Valid, unrestricted Class A CDL and current DOT certification (no training provided), • At least 1 year of driving and delivery experience, • Forklift experience, • Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed, • 2+ years of CDL driving experience, • Experience handling lumber or construction materials, • 6+ months of customer-facing experience The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $62400.00/yr.
