Job DescriptionJob Title: Material Handler Job Description Join our Omaha, NE team as a Material Handler, where you will be responsible for pulling product for customer orders and acting as a Non-CDL Delivery Driver. You will play a vital role in preparing shipments and loading trucks, ensuring safety is maintained at all times. Responsibilities • Accurately pull orders as assigned for daily deliveries., • Support route drivers on an as-needed basis., • Drive a non-CDL truck and follow all safety procedures according to company policy., • Stage orders according to truck location and verify the accuracy of pallets., • Load trucks for daily and special deliveries., • Operate power equipment, including forklifts., • Identify damaged products during the process and take appropriate action., • Assist customers and drivers in loading materials into vehicles and trucks., • Perform housekeeping duties and other assigned tasks.Essential Skills, • 2+ years of experience in material handling, including loading, picking, packaging, and unloading., • Experience with sit-down forklift operation and order picking., • 2+ years experience in shipping and receiving., • 1+ year of delivery driving experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience in a fast-paced distribution or warehouse environment is preferred but not required., • Valid driver's license and a good driving record per company policy., • Ability to obtain or currently possess a CDL Medical card., • High attention to detail and strong math skills for accuracy., • Ability to follow directions and safe operating procedures., • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the shift., • Willingness to work overtime as needed.Why Work Here?
