Position Summary Advance Community Health is looking for an enthusiastic Community Engagement Specialist to join our team! The Community Engagement Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies to engage our patients and community, and expand our ability to deliver quality, compassionate health care! ACH offers, • Company paid Medical premiums for Employee and two dependents., • Dental, and Vision insurance, • 401K Retirement Savings Plan, • All employees receive their Birthday Off, • Plan, coordinate and maintain a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, educational events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities., • Work collaboratively with community partners, local churches, and staff in outreach efforts., • Coordinate patient education activities such as the Power Hour patient education series., • Coordinate activities for National Health Center Week and additional health center themed weeks or events, i.e., pharmacy week, nutrition week, summer nutrition program, voter registration and census outreach., • Plan and coordinate special community and patient centered events., • Ensure patients and community members have accurate and timely information regarding Advance Community Health and our services. Conduct presentations for local community groups, organizations, and stakeholder groups., • Plan and execute outreach strategies to obtain patient feedback via quarterly patient satisfaction surveys, community meetings and focus groups. Required Qualification • Bachelor's degree in public administration, Public Health, Marketing, Communications, Sociology or Psychology or a related field., • Experience or Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access), and WordPress., • Experience working with persons from diverse cultures and income levels, with preference given to candidates who have worked in service settings., • Attention to Detail: Ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task., • Auditable Documentation: Ability to document transactions and processing in accordance with organizational standards., • Communication: Speaks, writes, listens, and presents information in a logical and articulate manner appropriate for the audience, • Flexible & Adaptable: Ability to shift with changing priorities and embrace change., • Customer Focused: Proactively and promptly responding to customer needs, offering as much information as needed and providing results that the customers value.
