American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Manchester, New Hampshire. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 03/02/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, • Work in the ED Holding Unit specifically caring for inpatient and CICU level holds in the ED, • Patient population includes chest pain, syncope, heart failure, sepsis, overdose, GI bleed, COPD, pneumonia, and overflow from medical, surgical, trauma, oncology, and orthopedic units, • Care includes post-cath with stent, ICD/pacer insertions, and cardioversions (no CABG), • Responsibilities include managing and titrating drips such as Lasix, Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Integrillin, Labatolol, Dopamine, and Dobutamine, • Use of special equipment including Bipap, Cpap, Vapotherm, Alaris Pumps, and Phillips Monitoring System, • Epic EMR experience is required, • Day shifts with 3x12 hour schedule (7:00–19:30), • Every other weekend shift required, • Role involves caring for complex, high acuity patients held in the ED setting, • May see a variety of medical, surgical, trauma, oncology, and orthopedic cases as overflow, • First-time travelers accepted if requirements are met, • Travelers residing within 50 miles accepted at local rate, • Required to perform and manage various IV infusions and respiratory support modalities\n \n Requirements\n, • Active NH or compact RN license required, • Minimum 2 years of recent experience, including strong PCU experience within the last year, • Current ACLS and BLS certs from AHA or Red Cross required, • EKG test required on arrival, • Epic EMR experience required, • References required for consideration, • No prior employment with any SolutionHealth-associated facility allowed\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
