Job DescriptionJob Title: Brand Strategy & Activation Marketing Manager Job Description The Brand Strategy & Activation Marketing Manager drives growth across a diverse beverage portfolio by developing and executing innovative brand and trade marketing programs that increase awareness, trial, and velocity across all channels. This role connects brand strategy with in-market execution, leading the creation of scalable, insight-driven initiatives that come to life across on-premise, off-premise, and emerging channels. Working closely with Sales, National Accounts, distributor partners, and external agencies, the manager delivers bold, retail-ready ideas that elevate brand presence and generate measurable gains in distribution and sales. Responsibilities • Develop and execute integrated brand and trade marketing programs across the full portfolio, ensuring they are tailored to key channels and customers., • Translate brand positioning into disruptive, channel-ready marketing initiatives that drive awareness, trial, and velocity., • Lead annual and seasonal marketing planning around key consumption occasions such as summer, holidays, and Halloween., • Ensure consistency of brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all consumer and customer touchpoints., • Identify new ways to position brands in-market to increase relevance, differentiation, and long-term growth., • Build scalable marketing programs that can be deployed across multiple channels, including in-store merchandising and POS, digital and shopper marketing, and experiential activations and events., • Develop and maintain core marketing assets such as brand toolkits, campaign guidelines, and sell-in support materials for sales and distributor teams., • Bring forward innovative ideas that drive incremental distribution, visibility, and consumer engagement across on-premise and off-premise environments., • Partner with vendors, agencies, and creative partners to execute marketing programs effectively, on time, and within budget., • Collaborate with Sales and distributor teams to adapt marketing programs for on-premise, independent retail, and regional and national accounts., • Provide tools, resources, and sell-in materials that support distribution growth and strong in-market execution., • Support go-to-market strategies for new product launches, limited-time offerings, and innovation initiatives from planning through post-launch evaluation., • Leverage syndicated data sources such as Nielsen and IRI, as well as internal reporting, to identify opportunities and inform brand and trade marketing strategy., • Track and report on program effectiveness, including sales impact, brand visibility, and execution quality at retail and on-premise accounts., • Translate insights and performance data into clear, actionable recommendations to optimize future programs and investments., • Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple concurrent marketing initiatives in a fast-paced environment., • Partner cross-functionally with creative, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure marketing plans are aligned, feasible, and executed smoothly., • Support innovation and new product development efforts with marketing strategy, positioning, and launch planning., • Act as a key point of contact for distributor sales and marketing teams, agency partners, POS and merchandising vendors, and event and experiential partners., • Champion a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration within the marketing team, taking ownership of initiatives from concept through execution.Essential Skills, • Bachelor’s degree is required., • At least 4 years of experience in brand marketing, trade marketing, or shopper marketing within beverage alcohol or consumer packaged goods (CPG)., • Strong background in multi-channel marketing, including on-premise and off-premise environments., • Proven experience developing integrated marketing programs from initial concept through full execution and post-program evaluation., • Hands-on experience with syndicated data sources such as Nielsen or IRI, and the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing strategies (preferred)., • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for presentations, analysis, and communication., • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously., • Demonstrated project management capabilities, including budget management and coordination across internal and external partners., • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to changing priorities., • Excellent marketing communications skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling messaging for both consumer and trade audiences., • Experience launching new products or brands and supporting them with go-to-market and activation plans., • Relevant experience in the beverage industry, ideally with leading beverage or beverage alcohol brands.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience working within beverage alcohol or major beverage/CPG organizations and familiarity with their route-to-market structures., • Experience with shopper marketing, digital marketing, and in-store activation programs., • Comfort working closely with distributor sales and marketing teams, agency partners, POS vendors, and event/experiential partners., • Ability to develop brand toolkits, campaign guidelines, and sell-in materials that are easy for sales teams and distributors to execute., • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and make data-informed decisions., • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite or the ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams using these tools., • Proactive, self-starter mentality with a willingness to take ownership of initiatives and run marketing programs end-to-end., • Collaborative working style and strong interpersonal skills to build productive relationships across internal primarily an on-site role in a collaborative office environment, working closely with a marketing team of approximately five colleagues within a company of around 150 employees. The organization emphasizes a strong in-office culture, with a preference for five days per week on site and potential flexibility for limited remote work. You will work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting where you partner daily with sales, operations, and external partners, and where you have the opportunity to own and lead marketing initiatives for a growing portfolio of brands. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of New Rochelle, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
