Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Duration: 25 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings, nights, flexible, • Employment Type: Travel Job description: Position: Pediatrics Respiratory Therapy Location: Phoenix, AZ Job Type: 25 week contract ( Possible Extension ) Start Date: ASAP Shift: Days, Mids and Nights (all shifts available) Expected Hours - 12 hours a day, 36 hours a week Job Summary This position facilitates and administers respiratory care, including routine and complex procedures, using a wide variety of techniques and equipment. Ensures care meets quality standards established by the hospital, department and regulatory agencies and maintains all skills and knowledge sufficient to provide safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate care to all ages of patients from neonate to adolescent. This position also participates in executing quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the need for respiratory therapy interventions., • Administer prescribed respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator management., • Monitor patients' responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans as necessary in collaboration with the healthcare team., • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory health and treatment options., • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and progress in compliance with hospital policies., • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care discussions., • State of Arizona Respiratory License, • Registered with NBRC, • Two (2) years’ experience as a Respiratory therapist, • AHA BLS, • AHA PALS, • Children’s hospital experience (Preferred) Application Process:\nPlease submit your resume to or call (949) 404 -4671.
