HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico. • Specialty: CVICU, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 10/13/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 48 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse – CVICU (Night Shift) – Travel/Contract Location: 601 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102 Start Date: 10/13/2025 Contract Length: 13 Weeks Hours per Week: 48 hours (4×12-hour nights) Shift: 18:30 – 07:00 Patient Ratios: 1:2 (Days & Nights) Positions Available: 1 • Total Hourly Rate: $57.09/hour, • Taxable (W2): $18.00/hour, • Non-Taxable Stipend: $39.08/hour, • Weekly Gross: $2,740.00/week, • Taxable (W2): $864.00/week, • Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,876.00/week, • Overtime Rate: $27.00/hour (W2), • Schedule: 48 hours per week (straight time) Key Duties: • Provide high-acuity care to CVICU patients post-cardiac surgery or procedures., • Manage cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, ventilated patients, and advanced monitoring equipment., • Assist with chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP/CPAP management, ECMO, and IABP when needed., • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team (PT, respiratory therapy, rapid response, pharmacy)., • Maintain infection prevention protocols, accurate charting, and patient/family education., • Valid NM or Compact RN license at time of submission (locals not accepted, 50-mile rule), • Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience, • Travel experience required, • Certifications: ACLS & BLS (required), • Ability to interpret and manage cardiac rhythms, IV therapy, central line and PICC care, and ventilator management, • 16-bed CVICU, • Adult and geriatric patient population, • Daily census ~10 patients, • Orientation: 24 hours, • Scrubs: Any color (no logo), • Floating to similar units may be required, • Shift: 18:30 – 07:00 (Nights), • Hours per Week: 48 (4×12-hour shifts), • Weekends: 1:2 ratio, • RTO: Must be listed at time of submission (1 request allowed) HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
