Position Summary: We are seeking a professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented Front Desk Specialist who is fluent in Spanish to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will set the tone for their entire experience. You will handle patient scheduling, check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and payments with a focus on creating an efficient and friendly experience. Key Responsibilities: • Warmly welcome patients in person and over the phone with professionalism and empathy, • Schedule and confirm appointments accurately using our EMR system, • Check patients in and out, ensuring smooth flow from arrival to departure, • Collect and process payments, co-pays, and outstanding balances, • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments, • Educate patients on financial policies, insurance coverage, and referral requirements, • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation, • Support other front office and back office staff as needed to promote team efficiency, • Uphold HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards, • Fluency in Spanish, • Knowledge of insurance verification and medical billing basics, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a growth mindset, • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, • Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems (e.g., ModMed, EPIC, or similar), insurance verification, and medical billing is a plus, • A patient-first, team-oriented culture where your contributions matter, • Opportunities for career advancement and professional development, • Competitive pay and benefits package, • Supportive leadership that invests in your success, • Be part of a practice that is making a meaningful impact in patients’ lives every day Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • Health insurance, • Paid time off, • 401(k) matching, • Dental insurance
