About This Role: Markade Plumbing seeks a committed and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the successful implementation of plumbing systems across various commercial construction projects. This position demands knowledge of the construction process, the ability to read plans, and proficiency in utilizing computer software, particularly project management platforms like Bluebeam and Procore, along with other construction-related applications. Strong communication skills and a passion for collaborating with teams that prioritize quality, safety, and efficiency are essential. What You'll Do: Project Oversight • Assist in the adherence to project schedules, milestones, and deadlines, • Verify installation aligns with plans/specs/ and the contract scope of work (this includes jobsite visits at the closure of each critical phase of work)., • Ensure that all project manuals, specification books, submittals, Geotech reports, and other supporting documents are collected, comprehended, and adhered to, • Review contractual documents, safety plans, and project specifications, • Conduct plan reviews, revisions, updates, as built drawings, and plan markups., • Interface with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal Markade teams as needed, • Ensure up-to-date drawings and spec books are being utilized, • Communicate with project manager on change orders and pricing, • Work closely with the purchasing team and general contractors to facilitate a prompt and precise submittal process., • Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop plumbing designs that meet regulatory standards and client specifications, • Coordinate with Markade Supervisor for job walk for scope and spec review, • Participate in scope review and sub coordination meetings, • Track and manage RFI's, • Aid in preparing builder and company jobsite specific safety plans, • Reinforce company core values, vision, and safety culture, • Comply with and contribute to expectations for quality and team standards, • Contribute to training plans and personal development for project management team Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in construction management (Preferred), • 5+ years working in a construction field (Plumbing Preferred), • Thorough understanding of the construction process and construction drawings, • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations (Preferred), • Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities, • Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience in BlueBeam, BuilderTrend and BuildOps (a bonus), and other project management software, • Excellent analytical, communication, and people skills, • Proficient with typing on a keyboard (Preferred), • Self-starter with initiative and independence, • Champion of company culture and crew development, • Competitive salary with performance bonuses, • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave, • Company-paid life insurance Join us and be part of a team dedicated to creating efficient, sustainable, and high-performance environments that make a lasting impact across the industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors.
