Title: Staff Psychologist/Clinician - Alcohol and Other Drugs Department: Counseling Center Reports To: Director Counseling Services Position Type: Staff Position Summary: The Staff Psychologist/Clinician - Coordinator of Alcohol, Other Drug, and Addiction Services serves as the primary clinical provider for alcohol and other drug (AOD) assessment, treatment, and prevention services within the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (C-CAPS). This role combines clinical expertise with program coordination and leadership in addressing substance use and behavioral addictions on campus. The clinician is responsible for delivering culturally informed, responsive mental health services to students, with a specialized focus on substance use and addictive behaviors. In addition, the coordinator leads prevention, education and outreach efforts in collaboration with campus partners, promotes harm reduction strategies, and contributes to the development of policies that support student mental health and well-being. Beyond direct clinical care, this position plays a key role in community-level mental health programming and campus-wide wellness initiatives. The clinician also collaborates closely with university faculty, staff, and administrators to provide consultation and outreach that align with the mission of C-CAPS and the broader goals of the university. The Staff Psychologist/Clinician Coordinator of Alcohol, Other Drug, and Addiction Services may also provide clinical supervision to licensed mental health professionals within C-CAPS. This includes clinical oversight for staff who engage in direct student support and may encounter students in distress. The supervision is limited to clinical supervision and does not extend to programmatic or administrative responsibilities of other offices. Competitive candidates will have demonstrated expertise in the provision of mental health services to a diverse population and culturally responsive treatment, and experience in clinical and outreach services related to addictions with diverse client populations. Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs seeks a Senior Research Scholar to work with the Sustainable Investing Research Initiative's (SIRI) Founding Director Caroline Flammer on the SIRI Blended Finance programming. SIRI aims to help advance the mobilization of capital towards sustainable development -- especially in lower-income countries -- through dialogue, education, and research. Under the directorship of Dr. Flammer, the candidate will co-lead and drive forward all aspects of the SIRI Blended Finance programming. Specifically, the candidate will lead the organization of SIRI's signature annual Blended Finance Conference and country-focused SIRI Blended Finance Roundtable Discussions, bringing together and fostering dialogue among key players from the public and private sectors, policymakers, and academia. The candidate will also write high-level reports summarizing the key insights and discussion points of each convening; develop case studies on blended finance; and help drive forward research activities in blended finance.
