Role Overview The Cell & Gene Therapy Coordinator (Non-Clinical) provides comprehensive coordination of administrative and operational services to ensure an efficient multi-disciplinary team approach for patients receiving advanced therapies. Serving as the central point of patient coordination in partnership with the clinical coordinator, this position facilitates an organized approach to managing patients undergoing advanced therapies across various care settings. This role supports the development and implementation of advanced therapy programs by streamlining logistics, enhancing workflow efficiency, and ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements. The role reports to the Director of Clinical Operations. Core Responsibilities * Patient Engagement & Scheduling • Engage with cell & gene therapy patients to through the, • Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments for new and existing patients, • Monitor waitlists, cancellations, and optimize scheduling to improve patient access and program efficiency, • Ensure timely scheduling of laboratory tests, diagnostic procedures, and follow-up care, • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., inpatient/outpatient teams, pharmacy, manufacturers, Nurse & Financial Coordinators) to maintain smooth patient flow, • Provide input into patient education materials and manage the printing/distribution of materials, • Take meeting minutes and distribute follow-up items as necessary, • Support FACT accreditation and annual audit requirements, • Identify areas for improvement in administrative operations, schedule utilization, and program workflows, • Assist with general administrative duties, such as maintaining tracking lists for operational and clinical staff contacts, and scheduling meetings Program Growth & Development • Participate in the development and refinement of workflows for patient identification, enrollment, and care coordination, • Ensure accurate data collection and tracking to support quality and compliance initiatives, • Assist with the implementation of cell & gene therapy programs at new health system sites, including potential travel to support integration efforts Experience The ideal candidate will have administration/coordination experience in oncology, cell and gene therapy, and/or bone marrow transplant or patient coordination services. * Skills & Education • Prior experience with computerized systems including EPIC, EMRs, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), • Bachelor's degree required Compensation • The base salary for this role is expected to be between $50,000 and $90,000 with bonus opportunity tied to quality metrics/outcomes.
