Job Description HOS Global Foods, known as House of Spices, is the leading importer and distributor of South Asian food in the USA. With over 50 years of experience and a dedicated team of 200+ employees across 12 distribution centers in North America, we are committed to delivering authentic ethnic food products that celebrate our rich culture. This position will oversee all aspects of HR strategy and execution across our U.S. and Canadian operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, DEIB, organizational development, and compliance. Reporting to the COO, this role will partner closely with senior leaders to align HR initiatives with business priorities and support scalable growth. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, sound judgment, and a passion for building great teams and culture. Essential Functions This position will oversee all aspects of HR strategy and execution across our U.S. and Canadian operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, DEIB, organizational development, and compliance. Strategic Leadership: • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company objectives., • Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture., • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes for all levels of the organization., • Design and implement performance review processes and succession planning., • Oversee compensation structure, salary benchmarking, and benefits administration., • Ensure HR policies comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations., • Manage employee relations and investigate/resolving workplace concerns., • Maintain compliance with employment laws across both U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions., • Oversee HRIS systems, reporting, and analytics., • Continuously improve HR processes and systems to support scalability., • Support the business through periods of growth, change, or restructuring., • Preferred Education and Experience, • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)., • 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role., • Deep understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and organizational development., • Proven experience building and scaling HR teams in high-growth or mid-sized companies., • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
