Responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and evaluate health education programs and workshops., • Provide education on topics such as nutrition, physical activity, disease prevention, mental health, and substance abuse prevention., • Collaborate with clients, community partners, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote wellness programs., • Conduct assessments to identify community health needs and tailor programs accordingly., • Create educational materials such as brochures, newsletters, and online resources., • Provide one-on-one counseling and group sessions to individuals seeking health advice or assistance., • Track and report on program outcomes and effectiveness., • Stay up-to-date on the latest health trends, research, and best practices., • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Public Health, Health Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)., • Master of Science in Nursing; Doctor of Nursing Practice degree preferred., • Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) a plus., • 2-3 years of experience in health education or related field., • Knowledge of health promotion strategies and health behavior change theory., • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Proficient in Microsoft Office and online communication tools., • Bilingual (Spanish, etc.) a plus.
