OVERVIEW: The Scholar Recruitment Specialist, under the guidance of the Director of Operations, will drive student recruitment by sourcing leads for schools via three key levers: building strong strategic partnerships with feeder schools, building brand awareness throughout the community, and increasing opportunities to connect with potential scholars. The Scholar Recruitment Specialist will be central to executing the organizations scholar recruitment strategic plan. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Increase Enrollment Numbers:, • Aim to achieve a specific enrollment target for each academic year., • Enhance Recruitment & Outreach Efforts:, • Work with the Director of Operations and CEO to develop and execute a comprehensive outreach plan to connect with potential students and families., • Expand outreach beyond traditional methods (e.g., community events, social media, partnerships with local organizations)., • Track outreach results and report them to the director of operations and CEO every month., • Develop and implement strategies to recruit prospective students through school visits, community events, presentations, and information sessions., • Conversion Rates:, • 50% of total applicants are converted and enrolled at e3 Civic High, • Apply consultative sales techniques to identify family/student needs and align them with the schools programs and mission., • Manage a pipeline of prospective students, ensuring consistent follow-up and personalized communication to convert interest into enrollment., • Meet or exceed enrollment goals by using sales strategies such as prospect tracking, follow-up campaigns, and data-driven outreach., • Implement strategies to improve these conversion rates, such as personalized follow-ups and informational sessions., • Strengthen Community Relationships:, • To increase visibility and referrals, Foster partnerships with local schools, community centers, and organizations., • Actively engage in fieldwork to cultivate new partnerships and establish connections with middle schools, youth organizations, and other relevant stakeholders to expand the school's network and increase enrollment prospects. Ensure visits are tracked systematically to monitor progress and effectiveness of outreach efforts., • Organize events and activities that engage prospective students and their families., • Coordinate stakeholder engagement for upcoming recruitment events, such as open houses and middle school fairs attended by our team, ensuring effective organization and timely follow-up., • Collect and document parent and community feedback to inform e3 leaders of ways to make and keep e3 Civic High attractive and competitive., • Use insights gathered from the community to influence new recruitment materials and tactics, including differentiated collateral for various stakeholder groups (e.g., parents, students, feeder school staff, community organizations, community leaders), • Enhance Brand Awareness:, • Increase awareness of the schools unique programs, achievements, and values in the community., • Develop marketing materials and campaigns that highlight the schools strengths and successes., • Monitor and Analyze Data:, • Prepare reports for leadership on enrollment pipeline, conversion rates, and outreach impact including: enrollment trends, demographic data, and feedback from prospective families., • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and recommend improvements., • Use enrollment systems (SchoolMint) to track leads, monitor progress, and report on recruitment efforts., • Support Retention Efforts:, • Collaborate with school administrators and staff to ensure a smooth transition and onboarding process for enrolled students., • Support retention initiatives to maintain student satisfaction and engagement., • Professional Development and Networking:, • Cultivate and maintain relationships with prospective families, middle school counselors, and community partners to increase referrals and visibility., • Attend professional development opportunities related to enrollment management and recruitment strategies., • Build relationships with other recruitment professionals to share best practices and innovative ideas., • Evaluate and Adjust Strategies:, • Conduct periodic evaluations of recruitment strategies and outcomes., • Adjust goals and tactics based on evaluation results to optimize effectiveness., • Social Media Strategies:, • Produce and post student recruitment focused social media, • Employ key strategies to expand schools organic reach on social media, • Interact with prospective students and parents, feeder schools, community organizations, and community leaders on social media, • Promote Diversity and Inclusion:, • Develop strategies to attract a diverse student body that reflects the communitys demographics., • Attend meetings, training, professional development workshops, and in-service programs, • School and community recruitment-related events, • Perform other duties as assigned including but not limited to covering for front office staffing shortages PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS, EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS • Associates degree or higher from an accredited university or combination of equivalent college and work experience, • One year of professional admissions/recruitment (or comparable) experience, • Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly preferred, • Experience presenting to large and small groups preferred, • Department of Justice (DOJ) fingerprint clearance (Placed and maintained in SDCOE Clearinghouse), • TB (tuberculin) clearance, as mandated by the California Education Code, • Legal authorization to work in the U.S., • Knowledge of recruitment goal setting and monitoring of targeted student populations., • Sales experience preferred., • Plan, organize, and implement work projects and tasks;, • Perform complex clerical tasks involving independent judgment and requiring speed and accuracy;, • Check emails regularly and respond in a timely manner (within 24 hours), • Organize, compile, and evaluate data pertaining to student enrollment and recruitment, • Maintain accurate records and other required data, prepare and submit reports in a timely manner;, • Data tracking and collection, record management and reporting methods, • Effective Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy;, • Establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work;, • Knowledge of student recruitment, inquiry management, and relationship-based marketing., • Knowledge of successful customer service practices., • Knowledge of virtual outreach platforms., • Deal effectively with a wide variety of personalities and situations requiring diplomacy, friendliness, poise, and firmness;, • Handle high levels of workplace stress in a professional manner;, • Work confidentially with discretion;, • Make independent decisions but seeks guidance from supervisors as appropriate;, • Strong verbal and written skills; copiers, fax machines, scanners and voice recorders., • Operate office equipment, including computer terminal and related equipment; meet schedules and timelines;, • Perform related work as required., • Work well both independently and as part of a team with individuals with diverse backgrounds., • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed., • Some travel is required. Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle if a school vehicle is not available.
