POSITION SUMMARY: The Facility Maintenance Team Member play a vital role in keeping the playing surface safe, clean, and ready for action. Whether during practices, games, or events, your attention to detail ensures athletes can perform at their best without risk of slips or injuries. This position is essential to maintaining the flow of the game and the professionalism of the facility. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Facility Maintenance Tasks • Maintain courts, office, and equipment as at all times during events, • Monitor for spills throughout the facility and clean as needed, • Clean all floor surfaces and glass in facility, • Clean, restock, and maintain all bathrooms: toilets, sinks, floors, etc., • Clean all guest seating and lobby area, • Facility trash removal, • Assist referees, coaches, and facility staff in ensuring safe playing conditions, • Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests with answers and directions as needed, • Set up and break down court cleanliness equipment before and after events., • Have general knowledge regarding program options and facility events, • Operate multi-line phones as needed, • Be responsive to guest concerns and direct to appropriate Manager to resolve, • Complete all other duties as assigned by management MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays and long hours as needed), • Consistent and regular attendance is mandatory, • Demonstrated experience in cleaning a high-volume multiple program facility, • Knowledge of safe and effective use of appropriate cleaning products, • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, • Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, • Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills, • Ability to multi-task and prioritize, • Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations, • Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders and fellow Team Members, • Must work well with others, • Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility, • Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high, • Must be able to work independently in a busy environment as well as alone before/after hours, • Will be required to stand for extended periods of time, • May be required to enter information on computers, • Facility has intermittent noise PREFERRED: • Have a basic understanding and/or appreciation of sports Job Posted by ApplicantPro
