Perform repairs to plumbing, fittings, and structures to prevent water loss and maintain structural integrity., • Install and set up pool and pond equipment including pumps, filters, UV systems, and chemical feeders according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines., • Monitor water chemistry and balance chemical levels using appropriate testing equipment and additives to maintain clean and safe swimming conditions according to City and State standards, • Update written and or digital records and logs regarding water chemistry levels for applicable features and exhibits, • Apply chemical treatments using appropriate safety procedures and according to departmental policies and procedures., • Secure and maintain all chemicals in appropriate storage facilities on site, • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on pool and pond systems to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others., • Proven experience (1-2 years) as a Pool/Aquatics Mechanic/Technician or similar role with a focus on pool and water feature maintenance and repair., • Strong knowledge of pool and pond equipment, including pumps, filters, UV systems, and chemical feeders., • Familiarity with plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems related to pool and water feature installations., • Must be able to perform basic to intermediate maintenance on pools and aquatic systems., • Must have the ability to use basic hand and power tools in order to maintain pool and aquatic systems., • Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members., • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require lifting (30 lbs.), bending, climbing 8-to-16-foot ladders and working in outdoor environments., • Ability to manage multiple tasks through use of effective organizational and time management skills, • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and efficiently complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, according to written maintenance standards, • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and responding to urgent facility needs., • Ability to work with facilities management and senior management to effectively complete workflow within a schedule and meet deadlines., • Ability to read and understand maintenance user manuals, blueprints, and other written technical documents, • Valid driver's license to drive garden vehicles, • Must have a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months with company assistance, • Must have RAIL certification, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months with company assistance, • Manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy; follow schedules and meet deadlines, • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills; good independent judgment skills., • Work collaboratively and cooperatively with supervisors and staff To help you stay energized, engaged, and inspired, we offer a wide range of benefits including comprehensive healthcare, a 401K, and Paid Time Off (PTO).
