Job Description About the Role Armature Works Private Events is seeking dependable, detail-oriented team members to join our Event Setup Crew. This team is essential to the success of our private events, handling the physical setup and breakdown of event spaces with care and precision. If you’re hands-on, work well in a team, and take pride in creating polished, professional spaces, we want to hear from you. What You’ll Be Doing • Set up and break down tables, chairs, stages, bars, cocktail tables, and other event furnishings., • Follow provided floor plans to accurately and consistently set each space., • Read and follow prep sheets, that include preparing some of the following, as well as items listed below. Prepare bar items, garnishes, place linens out on tables, prep coolers or ice chests etc., • Place linens, napkins, and other decor items with attention to detail and consistency, • Stock designated areas with event essentials. (glassware, trash cans, tray jacks, bar items, etc.), • Safely handle and move event equipment using carts, never dragging items across floors., • Assemble and level equipment (e.g., cocktail tables, staging) as needed., • Inspect event spaces before and after setups and report any maintenance issues to a manager., • Ensure equipment and supplies are stored correctly after each event., • Support the bar and service teams with event prep duties as assigned., • The ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed is key to this role., • Although we host events 7 days a week here at Armature, sometimes more than one event each day, but most shifts are during evenings and weekends., • A strong team player with excellent attention to detail., • Able to follow specific instructions and floor plans without deviation., • Comfortable lifting 50-75lbs and being on your feet throughout the shift., • This role frequently requires moving, furniture, tables, chairs and pushing rolling bars., • Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, holidays when needed as well as early mornings, and overnights., • Willingness to take direction and maintain a professional appearance and attitude on-site., • Work behind the scenes at one of Tampa’s most exciting event venues, • Join a close-knit team that values efficiency, collaboration, and high standards, • Gain experience in large-scale event production and hospitality, • Flexible scheduling based on event volume, • Opportunity to cross-train in other event departments
