Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 11/10/2025, • Duration: 8 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Ultrasound Technologist Location: 425 W 59th St, New York, NY 10019 Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Job Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations and provides technical support to radiologists. The technologist ensures accurate imaging, patient safety, and the proper maintenance of ultrasound equipment. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and examine patients for ultrasound procedures following established protocols., • Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment; ensure patient and staff safety at all times., • Capture and transfer images to PACS and physician workstations., • Maintain adequate supplies and cleanliness of work areas., • Assist in training and mentoring new ultrasound staff., • Handle scheduling, phone calls, and patient coordination when needed. Education: • High School Diploma or GED, • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, • OB/GYN ultrasound experience (all three trimesters) required/preferred, • ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) — required, • Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures and radiologic safety practices, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PACS systems, • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, • In-person interview required — no exceptions, • Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends) Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
