This position oversees both Bambuza Vietnam Kitchen & Bar and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at SLC, and approximately 30 team members, ensuring these locations operate at the highest standards of financial performance, brand integrity, and guest satisfaction. You drive results by managing financial performance, staffing, and day-to-day operations across both front- and back-of-house teams. As a Bambuza Hospitality Group leader, you’ll grow your skills, work with a diverse team, and be part of the exciting, fast-paced world of airport food and beverage operations. KEY DUTIES 1. Operational Excellence & Financial Performance • Manage sales, labor, product costs, and waste against established benchmarks., • Schedule employees to meet contractual expectations while maximizing sales and minimizing labor costs., • Ensure products are consistently available and onsite by proactively managing vendor relationships, orders, and delivery schedules. Maintain accurate inventory records., • Ensure safety, security, and proper cash handling procedures are met., • Be a consistent presence in the restaurants, working all shifts as needed to understand customer flow, trends, and staff needs.2. Team Leadership & Development, • Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture., • Identify and carry out on-the-spot corrections as well as progressive disciplinary plans for employees., • Provide ongoing feedback, recognize achievements, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence., • Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication with staff, senior leaders, vendors, and airport partners. 3. Guest Experience & Brand Standards, • Exemplify what it means to create a truly exceptional customer experience., • Adhere to all food safety standards and procedures, perform food safety checks, and ensure food quality is at its best., • Monitor store cleanliness, food safety and quality, and customer service to ensure they meet or exceed standards., • Willingly train on multiple brand standards, learning all aspects of each store’s respective menu and operations.4. Compliance & Airport Requirements, • Comply with airport security protocols, including secured item logs and access privileges., • Follow all safety regulations, brand standards, and company policies., • Maintain required documentation and ensure all staff comply with federal background check requirements and airport security training., • Ensure full compliance with airport tenant rules, lease agreements, and health department regulations. 5. Physical Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of 5+ years experience in a food service management role., • The ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English., • Food Handlers and Alcohol Serving permits are REQUIRED before start of work., • Must be 21 years of age or older., • All employees must pass a federal background check and comply with SLC International Airport security protocols.Requirements:
