Position Summary The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including guest experience, team leadership, financial performance, and operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to execute company standards with minimal oversight. The GM leads by example and ensures all team members consistently meet performance and service expectations. Growth Opportunity • This role is a key leadership position within a growing brand, • High-performing General Managers will be considered for expanded multi-unit oversight, training roles, or operations leadership as Melty continues to grow, • Opportunity to help shape systems, culture, and future locationsCompensation, • Competitive base salary based on experience, • Performance-based bonus tied to sales, labor, food cost and Guest Satisfaction results, • Benefits may include PTO, meals, growth incentives, and leadership development support, • Bi-Weekly Gas AllowanceScope of Responsibility, • Oversees 1 Melty locations with approximately 8 12 employees per location, • Accountable for sales performance, labor, food cost, and guest satisfaction across both units, • Supported by Ownership and Operations with established systems, training and brand standardsThis Role Is a Great Fit If You:, • Thrive in fast-paced, hands-on restaurant environments, • Enjoy developing leaders and being present in the business, • Are comfortable balancing multiple locations and priorities, • Take ownership and lead with accountabilityGuest Experience & Brand Standards, • Deliver a consistently high-quality food and guest experience that drives total guest satisfaction, • Address guest feedback promptly and professionally, resolving concerns before they escalate, • Ensure the restaurant consistently meets or exceeds company standards for quality, service, and cleanliness, • Effectively manage labor to meet budget goals while maintaining service excellenceTeam Leadership, Training & Development, • Coach, evaluate, and hold team members accountable using clearly communicated performance standards, • Develop high-potential employees and prepare them for advancement, • Build and maintain a strong leadership pipeline, including shift leaders and assistant managersBusiness & Financial Management, • Drive profitability through effective cost control, labor management, and operational execution, • Oversee inventory ordering, invoice management, inventory counts, and data entry, • Create and manage weekly staffing schedules and adjust labor as business needs changeCompliance, Safety & Ethics, • Ensure all business practices comply with company policies and federal, state, and local laws, • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health standards, • Ensure the safety and security of guests, team members, cash, and company assets Education • High school diploma or equivalent required, • College degree preferred Experience • 35 years of management experience, preferably in restaurant, quick-service, or fast-casual environmentsSkills & Abilities, • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, • Bilingual skills strongly preferredCertifications, • Food Handlers Permit (required or ability to obtain), • ServSafe certification (required or willingness to obtain)Transportation & Availability, • Reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and proof of insurance, • Must have a phone for team communication, • Accessible as needed to support restaurant operations; maintains an open-door policySchedule Requirements, • Ability to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required, • Locations operate within Mall hours, including nights and weekendsReady to Lead?
