Job Title: Traveling Sheet Metal Crew Member Job Type: Full Time Start Date: Immediately Salary Range: $20.00 - $38.00/Hour DOE Position Overview: Our Crew Members are the backbone of our operations. This position is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day production needs of the company, ensuring quality workmanship. Crew members are reliable team players who specialize in their craft but may be assigned to projects in multiple sectors. Essential Job Functions: • Help set-up, maintain, and clean-up project sites to ensure safe work practices and compliance with OSHA at all times, • Install Formawall Centria DS58 & DS60 metal wall panels, custom preformed metal wall & soffit panels, Parapet Coping & cut miters, custom sheet metal flashing & trim, Fascia, panel sills, profile closures, and window flashings, • Properly manage all assigned tools, equipment, and material, • Completion of assigned daily tasks and duties, • Report any safety concerns immediately, stopping work if necessary for safety Education and Experience: • 2-3 years experience in construction industry (preferred), • Experience working with metal roofing, coping, and the above, listed materials, • OSHA 10 hour training (minimum) Required Skills and Abilities: • Must be able to obtain security clearance on military job sites, • Must be able to travel and be out of town for weeks at a time, • Demonstrated time-management and organizational skills, • Detail-oriented,Hard-working, Follows instructions, • Embody and model company values ofFamily Culture, JR Attitude (humility, teachable), Extreme Ownership, Grow or Die (growth mindset, motivated, innovative) Work Environment/Physical Requirements: • Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test program, • Willing to travel, • Ability to perform elevated work (work on rooftops, heights), • Frequently lift and carry 50lbs or greater, • Frequent bending, kneeling, walking, • Outdoor environment in all types of weather (8+ hours per day) Benefits: • Health, dental, vision, life insurance, • Paid time off, • 401(k) with company match, • HSA/FSA, • Frequent overtime opportunities, • Fringe Benefit sub-plan (where applicable), • Paid Parental Leave Work Location/Schedule: • In person: Colorado Springs, CO, • Day Shift (Mon-Fri), • Frequent Weekend work based on project schedule J.R. & Co., Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
