We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that all purchasing activities align with the company's strategic goals. This role requires strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of inventory control, and proficiency in procurement management systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS. Responsibilities Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company objectives.
Manage the entire procurement process, from sourcing suppliers to contract negotiation and management.
Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
Collaborate with various departments to forecast inventory needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory control teams to optimize stock levels.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.
Evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Qualifications Proven experience in procurement management or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies and contract management practices.
Proficiency in procurement software such as SAP and Oracle EBS.
Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems is preferred.
Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract negotiations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market conditions and supplier capabilities.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
