Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk I to support our warehouse operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and deliveries., • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation., • Process daily shipments using FedEx, UPS, and LTL freight carriers., • Create shipping labels, bills of lading, and all required shipping documentation., • Obtain shipping rates and provide shipping quotes to sales representatives as needed., • Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment., • Coordinate domestic and international shipments., • Sort and distribute incoming packages to appropriate departments., • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records., • Ensure all shipments are processed accurately and delivered on schedule. Inventory & Warehouse Operations • Load, unload, move, and store materials throughout the warehouse., • Maintain inventory in designated locations and ensure proper organization., • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives., • Monitor and replenish shipping and warehouse supplies., • Identify and maintain proper storage requirements for incoming materials., • Assist with general warehouse operations and material handling activities. Quality & Documentation • Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, and discrepancies., • Compare packing lists, purchase orders, and shipping documents for accuracy., • Maintain receiving logs and inventory documentation., • File and organize MSDS, Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and other shipping-related records., • Report damaged materials, shortages, and inventory discrepancies promptly., • Ensure compliance with company procedures and documentation requirements. Safety & Housekeeping • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment., • Follow all company safety policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)., • Support special projects and other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
