Job Summary The Finance and Accounting Specialist/ Junior Comptroller supports the Comptroller/CFO in overseeing the accounting and finance operations of the firm. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards and legal/regulatory requirements (including law-firm specific requirements), and contributes to financial planning, analysis, internal controls, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have the capability to create journal entries and reconcile deposits in QBO to our billing system (CLIO), assist with monthly closes in QBO, calculate and prepare complex commissions calculations and other financial reports, and address 401K and workers comp audits at a minimum. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
