Job Description Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Job description: Position Title: Director of Sales and Operations Salary Range: $130,000 – $150,000 annually The Director of Sales and Operations drives business growth and oversees staffing operations to ensure exceptional client service and workforce delivery. This role combines strategic sales leadership, contract negotiation, and team management to optimize performance, profitability, and market expansion. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to: • Develop and execute sales strategies to secure new business and expand existing client relationships across multiple markets., • Identify and negotiate corporate contracts and preferred supplier agreements to secure long-term partnerships., • Oversee the development and submission of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other bid opportunities, ensuring competitive positioning, accurate pricing, and alignment with company capabilities and client requirements., • Partner closely with recruitment and operations teams to ensure all client staffing needs are met with speed, quality, and consistency., • Develop staffing team collaboration with clients to anticipate upcoming labor needs, proactively scheduling and reserving staff for peak periods and high-volume events., • Optimize scheduling, shift coverage, and last-minute fulfillment workflows through technology and process enhancements to maximize profitability and service consistency., • Monitor market trends and client feedback to inform both sales and staffing strategies, identifying opportunities for expansion., • Manage P&L performance for the staffing business unit, ensuring operational efficiency, profitability, and sustainable growth., • Implement operational improvements, process automation, and technology solutions to boost team performance., • Coach, develop, and motivate sales and staffing professionals to achieve departmental and individual goals., • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)., • 7+ years of leadership experience in staffing, sales, or operations—preferably within hospitality or temporary workforce industries., • Proven experience in B2B sales, with a strong track record of building and maintaining corporate client relationships, preferably within the staffing or hospitality industry., • Proven record of managing P&L, building sales pipelines, and achieving sustained business growth., • Strong ability to balance sales targets with staffing fulfillment and client service excellence., • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, adaptable leadership approach. Primarily an office-based role with occasional travel to client sites or events. Requires regular communication, computer use, and occasional light lifting (up to 25 lbs).
