Position Summary: The Machine Operator plays a key role in our production process by setting up, operating, and maintaining corrugated box-making equipment. This position ensures all machinery runs efficiently, safely, and produces high-quality products that meet customer specifications. Key Responsibilities: * Operate various production machinery including flexo folder gluers, rotary die cutters, slotters, and stitchers. * Set up machines according to production orders and specifications. * Monitor operations to ensure product quality and consistency. * Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment. * Make mechanical adjustments to improve output and minimize downtime. * Ensure correct materials are used and properly loaded into machines. * Record production data, including quantities, waste, and downtime. * Inspect finished products for defects and accuracy. * Follow all safety and quality procedures and report any issues to the supervisor. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. * Assist in training or guiding new production team members as needed. Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED required. * 12 years of experience operating manufacturing or converting machinery preferred (corrugated or packaging industry a plus). * Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. * Ability to read and interpret production orders, schematics, and measurements. * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality. * Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment. * Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. * Forklift experience helpful but not required (training provided).
