Job DescriptionJob Title: Machine Operator/Forklift Operator Location: Jacksonville, FL (32216) Shift: 12 hour shift 6pm-6am - 2-2-3 schedule Day shift is 6am-6pm - 2-2-3 schedule Will train on days for 2 weeks Pay: $18-$20/hr We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Machine Operator / Manufacturing Associate to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on manufacturing experience who enjoys physical work, teamwork, and maintaining high quality standards. Job Description As a Machine Operator, you will support daily production activities by loading materials, running equipment, and assisting with quality checks. Key duties include: • Standing at the production machine for the majority of the shift., • Loading sleeves of aluminum lids—approximately 5 pounds each—into the machine throughout the day., • Starting and stopping the machine as directed., • Performing visual quality checks during flavor changes (approximately twice per shift)., • Completing required production and quality paperwork accurately., • Using a hose and broom to clean around the machine and maintain an organized workspace., • Once trained, safely opening the machine to remove jams and restore operation.Qualifications, • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or production experience, • Ability to stand, lift light materials, and perform repetitive physical tasks, • Strong focus on quality and accuracy, • Good teamwork and communication skills, • Dependable, with excellent attendanceTop Skills, • 2+ years of manufacturing experience, • Ability to stand for the majority of the shift and perform repetitive loading tasks, • Strong attention to detail for quality checks, • Team‑oriented, works well with others, • Reliable attendance and consistent performanceNice to Have, • Machine operation experience This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
