Job Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically driven Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role sits at the intersection of financial reporting, planning, and business partnering. You will own core deliverables that go directly to leadership and our board, while also supporting the broader FP&A function across budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage competing deadlines, and a genuine interest in translating financial data into actionable business insights. Responsibilities Include: Reporting and Variance Analysis • Own the monthly budget-to-actual variance analysis across revenue, gross margin, and operating expenses — identifying key drivers and summarizing findings in a clear, executive-ready format, • Investigate and explain variances versus budget, prior year, and forecast; coordinate with department leads to gather context and validate assumptions, • Prepare and present monthly financial reporting packages including P&L by department, forecast vs. budget, and prior year comparisons, • Maintain and continuously improve reporting templates to ensure consistency and efficiency month over month, • Board and Executive Reporting, • Lead the preparation of the monthly and quarterly operations deck delivered to the Board of Directors and third-party stakeholders (e.g., private equity owners, banking partners), • Translate financial data into concise narratives and visuals that communicate business performance, trends, and risks clearly to executive and non-finance audiences, • Develop the weekly Flash Report delivered to the internal leadership team and Board of Directors, • Support the company's monthly and quarterly forecast and outlook process, including consolidating inputs from department leads and flagging risks and opportunities, • Build, update, and maintain financial models — including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow — ensuring alignment with business projections, • Develop hypothetical scenarios on sales and SG&A changes against plan to support leadership decision-making, • Support the annual budget process, ensuring sync with the strategic planning process, • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and reporting tools that give leadership timely, actionable visibility into business performance, • Perform ongoing margin and pricing analysis, creating summaries and dashboards that identify drivers and obstacles to profitability, • Assist with pricing analysis for executive review, including revenue, margin, and cash impacts of pricing adjustments, • Own the opportunity and quote process in Salesforce, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and complete for billing and revenue recognition purposes; serve as the primary point of contact for sales teams on quoting accuracy and process adherence, • Partner with department leads to manage revenue, margin, and operating expense revisions through the forecast cycle, • Alert the Director of Finance and CFO to emerging trends in financial performance that may require immediate attention, • Assist with due diligence requests related to banking, private equity, or M&A activity as needed, • Build credibility throughout the organization and with the executive team as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges., • Develop strong partnerships with all members of the management team., • Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits effective 1st day of the month following start date, • Fidelity 401K with a 4% Company Match and Day 1 vesting, • 6 Paid Holidays Annually, • Unlimited PTO Why Join PCS? Requirements: Success Criteria, Key Attributes, and Personal Characteristics • 2–3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role, • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, NRR) is a plus, • Experience building or contributing to board-level or executive reporting packages, • Comfortable working cross-functionally and translating operational data into financial insights, • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deliverables against tight deadlines, • Experience with Salesforce or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus Education A bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and/or MBA preferred.
