The Shelter Care Program is responsible for the direct animal care for all nine species of animal accepted for admission at Seattle Humane. This includes an astounding array of dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters, gerbils, rats, and mice. Each day the Shelter Care Team is responsible for feeding, cleaning, exercising, enriching, and medicating the animals in our care. In addition to the high level of care each animal receives, the Shelter Care Team also provides pathway planning for each animals journey. This starts from intake to outcome with an emphasis on minimize length of stay and meeting each pets individual needs. In order to accomplish these duties, Shelter Care is comprised of a team of compassionate and skilled staff and volunteers. While the work during the day can be challenging, the team supports a culture of leaving work at work when the scheduled day is over. The Animal Care Associate (ACA) I position is responsible for providing direct care for the animals in the shelter building as well as supporting other shelter operations. ACA I is the entry position within the Animal Care Associates, with opportunities to advance to specialize within a species or as a trainer of staff and volunteers. A day in the life of an ACA includes cleaning, feeding, socializing, exercising, and medicating animals as directed. Job Description THE ROLE: The Manager of Interior Design is responsible to lead the area and all or part of the team within a division to support the Interior Design process from start to finish. Design TJH homes while maintaining brand standards & budget standards. Is a key partner to the operations to participate throughout the building process. Brings the buyer/homeowner through the design process to agree on the final design selections. DAY IN THE LIFE: • Oversees & participates in the full design experience ensure quality, accuracy, design studio organization and cleanliness, samples, and schedule., • Observes team members interactions with a buyer or homeowner to evaluate, provide feedback, and coach and develop each individual., • Manages & creates the homes design packages to include reviewing on a scheduled cadence, determining any changes, implementing the updates, working with purchasing on any cost changes, and reviewing all updates with the division teams., • Oversees all or part of the design team members responsible to hire, evaluate, and performance manage as necessary., • Is the key point of contact and partner to the sales team when working with prospective buyers and /or homeowners to represent or assign all meetings to support in finalizing a contract., • Works closely with all members of the operations teams to ensure team is aligned on the design packages and individual plans providing the output required and the adjustments as needed., • Functions as the design leader in prospective buyers or homeowners to review TJH design principles, how space is utilized, answering questions and supporting the sales team in overcoming obstacles to a contract, • Assist the buyer or homeowner in the final selection process and create the final design using design programs and the TJH virtual reality design app., • Oversees and participates in all quality assurance reviews for all current and new plans., • Working with vendors/contractors to assess installations and work in partnership to enhance quality, ensure consistency, and improve work product., • Works closely with team to ensure vendors provide a seamless process and to learn product knowledge and quality standards., • Support the Area Managers and Construction Superintendents to respond to requests for information (RFI) both in real time or to research answers and respond in a reasonable and agreed upon timeframe., • Oversees in the oversight of the color board (exterior) materials to ensure a visually appealing curb value and adjust to provide the right first impression and stays focused on continuing to show at best throughout the process., • Leads the design review and participates as a member of the value add / value engineering process to identify opportunities in quality, cost, and cycle time., • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field, • 5-7 years’ experience in interior design, • Required technical skills: AutoCAD, InDesign, & Photoshop, • Ability to evaluate individual design skills of each team member and help to coach and develop or performance manage., • Understands and can read architectural plans, including MEP systems and interpret to address design needs to meet the local customer needs. #LI-Hybrid
