Apply now for this rewarding healthcare job and make a difference in patient care!\n \n\nHealthcare Job Details\n\n • Location: Lexington, KY 40536 (Kentucky nursing jobs)\n, • Setting: Interventional Radiology PACU (Prep/Recovery)\n, • Assignment Duration: 14 weeks (Start: 12/2/2025 – End: 3/10/2026)\n, • Shifts: 3 x 12-hour day shifts per week (potential start times: 6:00am, 7:00am, or 8:00am)\n, • Hours per Week: 36\n, • Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800-$1840\n, • Call Requirements: 2-3 call shifts per 6-week period (weekday and weekend call rotation)\n, • Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics\n, • Unit Size: 24 beds, daily census of 50\n\n\nPACU RN Qualifications\n\n, • Minimum 2 years of PACU nurse experience, including phase 1 recovery\n, • At least 1 year of ICU nurse experience\n, • Experience caring for pediatric patients (does not need to be from a dedicated pediatric PACU)\n, • Active Compact or Kentucky RN license required at time of submission\n, • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS (PALS can be obtained prior to start)\n, • Trauma Level I experience preferred\n, • Reference from a charge nurse or supervisor required\n, • Willingness to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed\n, • Local travelers within 75 miles are not accepted\n\n\nPACU Nurse Responsibilities\n\n, • Deliver pre-op and post-op care for Interventional Radiology patients in the PACU\n, • Monitor phase 1 recovery and ICU-level patients\n, • Provide nursing care for pediatric patients across all age groups\n, • Manage arterial lines, ventilated patients, and conscious sedation\n, • Perform medication reconciliation, discharge instructions, and stroke scale assessments\n, • Float to main PACU for off-hours recovery as needed\n, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy\n We believe in empowering your career.
