Job Details: PacAero Agawam is seeking a skilled IT Systems & Network Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support, infrastructure administration, and day-to-day IT assistance within our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for maintaining reliable operation of PCs, servers, network systems, ERP/MRP platforms, and cybersecurity compliance requirements, including CMMC controls. This position is hands-on and operational, serving as a primary point of contact for IT support while also maintaining and improving systems, networks, and overall IT performance. PacAero also operates additional manufacturing facilities, and this role supports multiple locations, including Agawam, MA and Norton, MA. This position is onsite, full-time, Monday–Friday, and is exempt. Requirements: Technical Support & Troubleshooting · Provide Tier 1–3 support for desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and other hardware · Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewall access · Diagnose and resolve email, internet, and business application issues · Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and peripherals · Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls · Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and recurring technical issues Network & Infrastructure Management · Maintain and monitor network infrastructure across Agawam and Norton locations · Ensure uptime, performance, reliability, and security of IT systems · Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups · Support server administration and infrastructure maintenance · Assist with hardware refreshes, upgrades, and technology improvements Compliance & Cybersecurity Support (CMMC / NIST) · Implement and maintain CMMC and NIST 800-171 cybersecurity controls · Support cybersecurity policies, system security plans, and compliance initiatives · Assist with internal and external audits and compliance assessments · Maintain system security, endpoint protection, and access controls · Support risk management and continuous compliance activities ERP / MRP & Business Systems Support · Provide technical support for ERP/MRP systems used in manufacturing operations · Coordinate with operations, engineering, and finance teams to ensure system reliability · Assist with system integrations, troubleshooting, and reporting functionality · Support continuous improvement of business systems Collaboration & Continuous Improvement · Partner with corporate IT on system updates, infrastructure projects, and cybersecurity initiatives · Recommend and implement process improvements and automation opportunities · Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system records · Serve as a liaison between manufacturing staff and corporate IT Workplace Standards · Maintain a clean, organized, and secure IT environment · Ensure IT equipment and sensitive data are stored securely · Follow all safety, quality, and security procedures · Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications · Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Information Technology required · Minimum 3–5 years of IT support, systems administration, or network support experience · Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networks · Experience supporting Windows environments, Office 365, and network infrastructure · Experience with user account management and access controls Preferred Qualifications · Experience supporting ERP or MRP systems in a manufacturing environment · Familiarity with CMMC, NIST 800-171, or cybersecurity compliance frameworks · Experience with servers, Active Directory, and network administration · Experience supporting multi-site environments Skills & Competencies · Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities · Excellent communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users · Highly organized and detail-oriented · Self-starter who can work independently · Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment · Strong sense of ownership and accountability Work Environment & Physical Requirements · Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and variable temperatures · Standing, walking, and lifting IT equipment up to 40 lbs · Occasional travel between Agawam and Norton facilities · Occasional after-hours support may be required Expected Compensation: The anticipated pay range posted for this position represents PacAero (Litron, LLC)’s good-faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting and is based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, internal equity, geographic market data, and current area compensation benchmarks.
