BASIC PURPOSE To provide a safe and reliable fleet by performing preventative maintenance and proper repairs on all fleet equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards. * Complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (i.e., tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates, etc.). * Take directions from and assist senior technicians with repairs. * Utilize fleet maintenance system tablet to fully document equipment repair and parts used. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules/regulations and government guidelines. * Willingness and capacity to assume increased responsibility and certifications. * Other duties as assigned by manager.
