Responsibilities: As a Full-Time Veterinarian at Dongan Hills Veterinary Practice and Integrative Wellness Center, your responsibilities will include: • Providing comprehensive medical and surgical care to a variety of animal patients., • Performing physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and developing appropriate treatment plans., • Administering vaccinations, medications, and treatments., • Performing surgical procedures, ranging from routine to more complex cases., • Providing preventative care counseling, including nutrition, behavior, and parasite control., • Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records., • Communicating effectively with clients, providing education and support regarding their pet's health., • Collaborating effectively with veterinary technicians, assistants, and other team members., • Staying current with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine through continued education., • Adhering to all ethical and professional standards of veterinary practice., • Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the overall success of the clinic.Qualifications:, • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution., • Valid and active license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New York., • Strong diagnostic and surgical skills., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to work effectively in a team environment., • A compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners., • A commitment to providing high-quality veterinary care.Benefits: We are committed to exploring innovative treatments.
