Overview We are looking for a proactive, hands-on individual to join our team as a Handyman / Maintenance Technician. This role combines general maintenance work with the opportunity to learn how to repair and maintain coffee equipment (espresso machines, grinders, water systems, etc.). If you enjoy working with tools, solving problems, and want to develop specialized technical skills, this position is for you. As a technician, you’ll deepen your knowledge of coffee equipment while helping maintain the quality standards that make Devocion unique. Responsibilities • Perform general repairs (basic electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.), • Conduct preventive maintenance of facilities, • Assist with installation and repair of coffee equipment, • Diagnose issues and propose effective solutions, • Keep tools and work areas organized, • Learn and apply maintenance techniques for coffee machinery Requirements • Previous experience as a handyperson or in general maintenance, • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, • Ability to use hand and power tools, • Strong willingness to learn and sense of responsibility, • Driver’s license, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications • Experience with general maintenance projects, • Experience with coffee equipment or similar machinery, • Interest in coffee and its technology, • Experience in commercial or industrial maintenance Physical Requirements • Ability to frequently move around for extended periods of time (8+ hours per day, 5 days per week)., • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs., • Ability to operate store machinery for extended periods of time.
