Job Description Now Hiring: Branch President - Commercial & Light Industrial HVAC & Chiller Contractor Location: Commack, NY | Full-Time | Leadership Role About Us Were a well-established mechanical contractor with 30+ years of proven success delivering mission-critical HVAC and chiller solutions across commercial and light industrial markets. Our work supports clients where uptime and performance are non-negotiable think hospitals, labs, schools, data centers, and complex commercial facilities. We specialize in chilled water plants, air-cooled systems, energy retrofits, and high-efficiency system design. Whether its install, service, or emergency repair were known for our technical depth, rapid response, and systems that just work. Were not chasing volume were focused on doing the job right and being the partner clients trust when it matters most. Were looking for a sharp, experienced leader to run point on one of our fastest-growing divisions. If you know HVAC, chillers, and field ops like the back of your hand and youve got the leadership chops to grow a team, drive profits, and own P&L this ones for you. This isnt a babysitting gig. We need a true operator whos just as comfortable in the boardroom as they are walking a job site. Someone who can manage people, projects, and profit while building strong client relationships and bringing in new business. What Youll Own: • Foster a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, teamwork, and excellence., • Provide hands-on support to HVAC/R service managers and technicians, including troubleshooting, coaching, and quality improvement initiatives., • Develop and execute an annual business plan focused on revenue, profit, ROI, and strategic action items., • Monitor branch performance against operational, quality, and financial KPIs., • Allocate resources and create data-driven forecasts to support branch goals., • Own full P&L responsibility for the branch, driving results through strategic pricing, cost control, customer retention, and expense management., • Identify challenges, analyze data, and implement effective technical and administrative solutions., • Ensure timely, clear communication and follow-through with internal teams and customers., • Partner with the safety team to uphold all job site safety protocols and standards., • Work closely with Accounting to maintain accurate and timely invoicing, AP/AR processing, and reporting., • Collaborate with HR and department managers to ensure staffing needs are met, and oversee effective onboarding, employee relations, and professional development. What Were Looking For: • 710 years of experience in the HVAC/R or mechanical services industry; hands-on experience in light commercial and refrigeration services preferred., • 35 years of service management and team leadership experience., • Strategic thinker with a strong problem-solving mindset and creative approach., • Highly organized and detail-oriented., • Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and forecasting capabilities., • Proven leadership ability with a track record of team growth, issue resolution, and talent development., • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel., • Solid record of field safety performance in HVAC/R environments., • In-depth understanding of mechanical service operations and demonstrated success in business performance.
