How You’ll Make an Impact The Supply Chain Associate I provides critical support to the Supply Chain and Production Control teams, assisting with purchasing activities, material coordination, and production scheduling. This entry-level position is designed for recent graduates in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field who are eager to begin a long-term career in aerospace manufacturing. Under the supervision and mentorship of the Supply Chain and Production Control leadership teams, the Supply Chain Associate I will learn the foundational processes that ensure timely procurement, efficient material flow, and accurate production scheduling within a global manufacturing environment. What you’ll be doing as a Supply Chain Associate I: • Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Fife, WA location., • Assist in the creation, processing, and tracking of purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of materials and components., • Support communication with suppliers regarding order confirmations, lead times, and shipment schedules., • Monitor material status and availability to help maintain alignment with production requirements., • Coordinate with production control to review work orders, scheduling priorities, and material readiness., • Update and maintain accurate data in the company’s ERP/MRP system, ensuring integrity of part status, purchase orders, and production schedules., • Support the preparation and maintenance of reports and metrics related to delivery performance, inventory levels, and supplier performance., • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams to resolve material shortages, delays, or discrepancies., • Assist in maintaining supplier files, certifications, and compliance documentation as required by aerospace standards., • Participate in process improvement initiatives related to material flow, planning accuracy, and procurement efficiency., • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field., • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills., • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management., • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with spreadsheet analysis and reporting., • Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment., • Eagerness to learn new systems, processes, and tools., • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities under supervision., • Internship or academic project experience in supply chain, procurement, or production planning., • Exposure to ERP/MRP systems (e.g., GlobalShop, JobBoss, SAP, or similar)., • Understanding of basic purchasing and production planning principles., • Familiarity with manufacturing or aerospace environments., • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or 5S practices., • Demonstrated initiative and reliability in academic or work settings. Work Environment: A large percentage of work time is spent in a machine shop where temperatures vary from hot to cold. The environment may also include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vapor from coolant, etc. Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required. Compensation and Benefits: Employee Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, long-term disability and 401(k) with up to 6% QACA company match. The Supply Chain Associate I Compensation range for onsite Washington applicants is $20/hr-$22.50/hr commensurate with experience. Some shifts may include shift differential pay rates. Other site ranges may differ.
