Job DescriptionWarehouse Associate – Structural Steel Location: Omaha, NE Type: Contract‑to‑Hire Pay: $19–$21/hr Join a solid warehouse crew at a leading structural steel distribution center. This is hands‑on, physical work with long‑term potential. No crane experience? We’ll train you. If you show up, work safe, and work hard, this is a good place to stay. Shift Options • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | $19/hr, • 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 11:30 PM | $21/hrWhat You’ll Do, • Operate overhead cranes to move structural steel., • Load trucks using order sheets and staging plans., • Track and manage inventory in your assigned bay., • Perform daily equipment checks and basic crane maintenance., • Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized., • Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and lift procedures.What You Need, • 6+ months of warehouse or equipment operation experience., • Forklift or pallet jack experience preferred., • Overhead crane experience is a plus (paid training provided)., • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, semi‑outdoor setting., • Able to handle heavy materials throughout the shift.Pay & Benefits, • $19/hr (1st Shift) | $21/hr (2nd Shift), • Paid overhead crane training., • 70% of health insurance premiums covered., • 401(k) with 1% match up to 4%., • Medical, dental, vision, • Life insurance & AD&D, • Short‑ and long‑term disability, • HSA and transportation benefits, • Employee Assistance Program, • PTO, vacation, or sick leave (based on eligibility)Work Environment, • Steel distribution warehouse (clean, not climate‑controlled).
