Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Reassemble machines following completion of repair or maintenance work., • Start machines and monitor mechanical operation to evaluate efficiency and identify problems., • Inspect and test damaged machine parts; mark defective areas or notify supervisors of repair needs., • Lubricate machines, machine parts, and equipment in accordance with established procedures., • Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments based on production specifications., • Dismantle machines and remove defective parts for repair or replacement., • Record production, repair, and maintenance activities accurately., • Read and interpret work orders and specifications to determine maintenance or repair requirements., • Set up and operate machines, adjusting controls to regulate operations., • Work collaboratively with other personnel to repair or relocate machines, machine parts, or equipment., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment., • Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an apprenticeship program preferred., • One to two years of related work experience in mechanical maintenance., • Strong knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance., • Ability to use email systems and preventative maintenance database software. Job DescriptionDescription: SeaCa Plastic Packaging LLC, a Seattle-Tacoma Box Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the electrical systems that power our manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure. While this is a specialized electrical role, it is also hands-on and collaborative, requiring a solid understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work in a high-paced manufacturing environment. We are looking for candidates with strong electrical troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to equipment reliability. Training is provided to support continued career development. A flexible schedule is required, and this position is essential to supporting production. Shifts Available: • Sun – Tues/Weds | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues related to production machinery, including motors, sensors, VFDs, PLCs, and control panels, • Install, maintain, and repair wiring, lighting systems, and electrical components in accordance with NEC and OSHA standards, • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and machine manuals, • Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs as needed to support full equipment functionality, • Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems and document findings, • Complete and document work orders using internal systems, • Understand and apply Lockout/Tagout and other safety procedures consistently, • Recommend parts, tools, or equipment necessary for repairs or improvements, • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, • Collaborate with maintenance and production team members to reduce downtime and improve efficiency, • Remain onsite or ensure issues are addressed before leaving during critical breakdowns, • 5+ years of technical training and hands-on electrical maintenance experience, • Strong knowledge of 3-phase motors, electrical control systems, and industrial equipment, • Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems (Allen Bradley preferred), • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation, • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems, • Understanding of OSHA and NFPA 70E safety standards, • High school diploma or equivalent required, • Technical certificate or college coursework in Electrical Maintenance or Industrial Technology preferred, • Electrical troubleshooting: 2+ years (Required), • Mechanical repair knowledge: 1+ year (Preferred), • PLC/VFD experience: 1+ year (Preferred), • Must be able to lift and push/pull at least 50 lbs., • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, or stoop for extended periods, • Comfortable working in hot, cold, dusty, humid, or noisy conditions, • 5+ years of technical training and hands-on electrical maintenance experience, • Strong knowledge of 3-phase motors, electrical control systems, and industrial equipment, • Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems (Allen Bradley preferred), • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation, • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems, • Understanding of OSHA and NFPA 70E safety standards, • Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a flexible schedule
