WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE The Quality Control Lead will assist and monitor production and product quality to ensure all products meet the established specifications. The Quality Control Lead will assist QC Supervisor in performing the development, maintenance and implementation of the quality systems and food safety programs. Will provide support and direction to Quality Control Technicians. JOB DUTIES: • Train and review of methodologies, SOP’s, performance and techniques of QC personnel by working with QC supervisors including calibration of equipment to assure accuracy and repeatability of test results, • Responsible for preparing and shipping samples to customers, • Ensure all analytical and production check frequencies are being met, • Monitor compliance to specifications, methods, and procedures, GMP, HACCP and food safety programs through records review, • Conduct routine plant inspections to verify compliance to quality and food safety programs and regulatory requirements, • Assist in the investigation of customer complaints and holds for non-conformance, • Monitor quality and status of products in inventory, • Monitor CIP systems and documentation to ensure proper cleaning. The job consists of the following, but is not limited to this list: • Four days of travel, mostly in SoCal, some Nor Cal jobs, • Hard start time at every job site of 7:30 AM, regardless of drive time, • Lunch to be taken on site, (Brown bag, Uber eats, DoorDash), no leaving job site until inspection passed, • Install up to (2) 8' ground rods, grounding wire, bond cold, hot, gas pipe and install intersystem grounding bridge, • Safely disconnect and safety off overhead/underground utility power (if HOT work allowed by utility), • Remove existing MP, install new MPU (surface or flush mount), • Install riser/mast, strap riser conduit, install flashing, weatherhead and riser wires or shorten/extend, offset underground conduit, • Install properly sized breakers, (AFCI breakers if MPU is relocated), Surge Protective Device and legibly label panel, • PASS electrical release inspection, required at every MPU job, • Safely reconnect overhead/underground utility power, or wait till utility co. re-connects, • Pick up and load all job trash including removed panel, panel parts, riser, riser wire, etc. (No trash left behind), • MPU work must be done within 8hrs
