Summary INB, N.A. is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Trust Operations Assistant to support the efficient administration of trust operations. Reporting directly to the Trust Operations Manager, this individual will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and operational tasks in accordance with the bank’s Trust Policy, internal procedures manual, and applicable OCC regulations. Requirements: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. • Run and distribute daily/monthly reports from various systems., • Perform various daily/monthly reconciliations., • Coordinate monthly reporting for the Trust Investment Committee by preparing an agenda, taking minutes, and gathering reports and other data required to comply with OCC and trust policy., • Prepare input to be entered into the trust accounting system, such as but not limited to new account set-up, closed accounts, batch posting to accounts, check requests, bill paying, processing requests for distribution, wire transfers, ACH Processing, and statement rendering and other types of file maintenance., • Process ACH CD, Federal Reserve interest payments, and Fidelity Mutual Fund Dividends by comparing Fed, ACH, and Fidelity reports to the trust accounting system to release for posting., • At the direction of the Operations Manager and Trust Officer/Administrators, enter buys and sells to the Trust Accounting system and various other platforms., • Order supplies, sort and distribute mail, scan bills/invoices, and other documents to the client’s electronic file., • Provide support to trust officers/administrators. Cross-train and provide back-up in all areas of trust operations. This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Two years of administrative and/or operations background in trust preferred, but not required. Language Skills Requires ability to communicate effectively and clearly (both written and verbal); Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Mathematical Skills Requires ability to perform basic mathematical calculations; add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Requires ability to use good judgement in making routine and complex decisions; Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to sell products and Services; Must be goal-oriented and able to achieve individual goals as well as work as a team player to achieve departmental and/or Bank goals. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, with an ability to quickly learn other bank-related programs.
