Job DescriptionJob Title: General Production Worker / Profile Technician Job Description This role involves working as a Profile Technician in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment, safely completing all processes associated with producing order-specific profiles. You will work from raw materials through to finished products, ensuring accurate material supply, performing quality checks, and packaging products to meet client specifications. You will operate and adjust production equipment, support changeovers, and contribute to a strong team culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities • Ensure the correct raw materials and appropriate quantities are supplied to the production lines according to production requirements., • Set up and start production lines and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner following established procedures., • Operate profile extrusion lines and associated machinery safely and consistently to meet production targets., • Perform color and tool changeovers on profile lines using established procedures to minimize downtime and maintain quality., • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications for color, pattern, length, and width., • Use measurement tools such as rulers and other gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances., • Inspect products and components during and after production to identify defects or inconsistencies., • Troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise and take appropriate action to resolve or escalate problems., • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area., • Work collaboratively with team members to coordinate tasks, solve problems, and support production goals., • Recognize what needs to be done on the production line and take initiative with little to no supervision., • Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail., • Participate in ongoing skill development and training to expand capabilities and support advancement opportunities.Essential Skills, • Previous manufacturing experience, preferably in a production or extrusion environment., • Hands-on machine operation experience, including operating and monitoring production equipment., • Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and support maintenance efforts., • Proficiency in using measurement tools, including rulers and other measurement devices, to verify product dimensions., • Experience with assembly, inspection, and quality checks in a production setting., • Strong attention to detail to ensure materials, settings, and finished products meet specifications., • Ability to recognize and take action on tasks with minimal supervision., • Capability to multi-task and remain effective in a fast-paced environment., • Ability and desire to work in a team-based environment where decision-making occurs at the team level., • Motivation to increase skills, learn new tasks, and progress within the role., • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and consistently.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience with extrusion processes and profile line operations., • Familiarity with color and tool changeovers in a manufacturing environment., • Comfort working with order-specific production requirements and quality standards., • Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic in previous roles., • Openness to ongoing training and cross-training across different lines or tasks.Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing facility that specializes in plastic extrusion. You can expect to work scheduled shifts, with options for both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts depending on business needs and availability. The role involves standing for extended periods, working around moving machinery, and using standard production tools and measurement equipment in a hands-on, industrial setting. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Green Bay, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.92 - $24.86/hr.
