Job DescriptionJob Title: General Production Job Description As a General Production employee, you will be involved in creating concrete molds and forms used for catch basins and manholes. These molds are essential for construction companies and are placed beneath sewer grates and manholes. Responsibilities • Mark and stencil holes in 2-foot-tall concrete catch basins., • Use an air chisel to etch and chisel holes in concrete structures., • Work on ladders 4-6 feet tall to move concrete through rebar in molds., • Clean, strip, and prepare molds for future use., • Measure and cut rebar to specific lengths to strengthen concrete catch basins., • Create and tack rectangular forms using rebar.Essential Skills, • At least 1 year of experience in construction, concrete, farmhand, mechanic, or labor., • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds., • Capability to stand for a 10-hour shift.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience in fields such as concrete, farmhand, mechanic, construction, framer, and welder is beneficial.Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is loud and physical, with vibrations from the compacting machine. It is not climate controlled, leading to hot summers and cold winters. The dress code includes jeans, steel toe boots, and a T-shirt or hoody, with PPE such as safety glasses, a hard hat, and a safety vest provided. The team consists of 8 employees in the Catch Basin department, 5 in the Wet Cast area, and 1 in the Rebar area. Core hours are from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with extended hours from 5 am to 4 pm due to the busy season. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of GREEN BAY, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
