ABOUT THE POSITION Fairchild Equipment is seeking a hard-working, dependable, and motivated Accounts Receivable Associate to specialize in third-party portal administration. In this role, you will manage all processes related to third-party billing portals, ensuring accurate and timely invoice submission, payment application, and follow-up on outstanding balances. This position plays a key role in maintaining compliance with company policies and third-party portal requirements while supporting efficient cash flow and strong customer relationships. This is a full-time position based out of our corporate office in Green Bay, Wisconsin. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Review and submit invoices to 3rd party portals accurately and on time., • Verify billing information, purchase orders, contracts, and payer eligibility., • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid or underpaid invoices., • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, denials, and adjustments., • Post payments, process refunds, and reconcile accounts., • Communicate with third-party portals, internal departments, and customers regarding invoice issues., • Maintain detailed and accurate account records in accordance with compliance and audit standards., • Stay current on portal rules, portal access, billing regulations, and contractual changes – including the need to add and adapt to new portals., • Requires tenacity and attention to detail to ensure accurate 3rd party portal processing., • Works with other teams as needed to ensure the highest quality and efficiency., • Ability to organize, multi-task, and meet deadlines., • Qualified candidates will have the ability to communicate effectively with customers and Fairchild Equipment personnel., • Support and serve as a backup to others in the Accounts Receivable Department., • Work with Accounting and other Fairchild personnel to clean up past due accounts., • Ability to organize, multi-task, and meet deadlines with an eye for accuracy., • Excellent customer service skills., • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite good Excel skills preferred., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., • Clear written and verbal communication skills., • Customer service–oriented mindset., • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments., • Knowledge of 3rd party portals and related processes – preferred (Ariba, Taulia, Coupa, Tungsten, etc.), • Ability to sit for extended periods of time., • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day., • Ability to reach, stoop, and lift on a frequent basis., • Ability to focus on projects for periods of time., • Operates in a professional office environment., • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
