We are seeking a part-time to full-time Customer Service Representative to be the face of our practice. The preferred candidate is punctual, reliable, and has schedule flexibility. You’ll welcome visitors, clients, and their pets to our brand new facility, answer phone calls, emails, and texts, schedule appointments, check out and take payments, complete daily office tasks, and do what it takes to serve our patients and clients in a busy environment. The ideal candidate is a great communicator with a strong work ethic who is interested in a meaningful role on a supportive team that has a variety of personalities. Compensation: $16 - $19 hourly Responsibilities: • Take all incoming phone calls and respond to emails and texts to ensure the appropriate people receive all relevant information, • Welcome fellow employees, clients, and visitors when they enter the building, and give them any pertinent information or directions, • Assist with additional administrative tasks such as data entry, copying, downloading and linking files, and client communication by phone, email, text, etc., • Communicate clearly with co-workers in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment, • Adapt quickly to change, • Express compassion and a willingness to serve and assist clients, fellow employees, and the pets we care for, even during their rough timesQualifications:, • Must have graduated from high school, received a G.E.D., or equivalent, • Has previous experience with word processing programs and basic Windows computer skills, • Pay attention to details while under pressure, • Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills, • Well-versed in taking telephone calls and remaining calm in stressful situations, • 1+ year of fast-paced receptionist experience or veterinary practice job experience preferred, but not required, • Have the ability to manage multiple digital communication platforms, • Self-motivated to do daily tasks and keep yourself busy.
