Job Description About Us NorthCoast Media Group is a team of makers—photographers, filmmakers, designers, animators, storytellers, audio engineers, and technicians who love turning ideas into something people feel. We create commercial photography, cinematic video, CGI/graphics, and live events and live event content for brands that want to stand out, be bold, and show the world who they really are. We move fast, obsess over craft, and take pride in being the creative partner clients didn’t know they needed. As we grow, we’re looking for a Sales Executive who gets the creative world, speaks the language of production, and can help bring in the kind of work that excites both our team and our clients. The Role This isn’t a “smile-and-dial” or cookie-cutter sales gig. This role is for someone who thrives on uncovering real business problems, building relationships, and shaping creative solutions that move the needle. You’ll be selling ideas, possibilities, and stories—not widgets—so the ability to guide clients through ambiguity, multiple stakeholders, shifting timelines, and evolving visions is key. Our average project is $80k+, and we aim for roughly 10 new partnerships a year—plus ongoing growth with the clients who love us and the results we bring. What You’ll Do Pipeline & Prospecting • Build a healthy flow of opportunities across commercial, manufacturing, retail, B2B, agencies, and more, • Reach out consistently—calls, emails, social, networking, events, • Identify quickly which opportunities fit and which don’t, • Get in front of decision-makers (owners, execs, VPs, marketing leads) Consultative Selling & Closing • Run genuine discovery conversations—understand goals, challenges, and budgets, • Pitch creative ideas and production plans with the confidence of someone who gets the craft, • Build thoughtful proposals and scopes, • Lead negotiations and close, • Keep the CRM clean, clear, and useful (we all appreciate it) Account Development & Relationship Building • Build long-term partnerships, not one-offs, • Become a trusted advisor clients want to call first, • Work closely with producers, creatives, editors, and project managers for smooth handoffs, • Identify new opportunities, new stories, and new needs inside existing accounts Internal Collaboration • Align client expectations with creative possibilities and production realities, • Contribute ideas, join brainstorms, and help push concepts forward, • Reflect on wins/losses so we always get a little better, • Work with leadership to plan revenue goals and strategy You Are... • A sales pro with 5+ years selling into senior leadership/C-suite, • Experienced in selling creative, marketing, media, consulting, or other intangible services, • Someone who loves uncovering budgets, asking smart questions, and navigating complex decisions, • Resilient, persistent, and comfortable hearing “no” until you get to the right “yes”, • A natural relationship builder—whether you already have a strong network or can build one fast, • Creative enough to help clients see potential, not just deliverables, • A strong communicator: writing, presenting, storytelling, all of it, • Team-minded—because sales and production must be in sync, • Organized, self-driven, and hungry to grow, • Coachable and always leveling up Required Skills & Experience Sales Background • 5+ years in B2B sales, ideally working with senior leadership, • Track record of closing at least ten $80k+ deals per year, • Strong skills in negotiation, forecasting, and long-cycle selling, • Experience selling intangible or creative services Tech & Tools • Comfortable with MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.), • Familiarity with AI tools is a bonus, • Able to build compelling presentations and use social media as a sales channel Personal Strengths • Excellent storyteller and communicator, • Strong business instincts and strategic thinking, • Organized and disciplined in planning and tracking, • Values great service—and knows how to set healthy boundaries, • Valid driver’s license/regional travel as needed Compensation & Benefits • Competitive base salary, • 40% performance-based earning structure, • Potential to earn $90k+ annually, • Revenue-based incentives, • Hybrid work option in the future, • Access to full production resources, case studies, and portfolio, • A collaborative team where your ideas genuinely matter Why This Role Matters We're not hiring someone to “sell projects.” We're hiring someone who wants to help shape what NorthCoast becomes. Your relationships, your ideas, and your instincts will help define the next chapter of our growth. If you want to join a creative team where your wins are visible, your input counts, and your work sparks real-world stories—welcome home!
