Job Description Job SummaryThe Warehouse Operator is responsible for performing a range of warehouse activities including receiving, handling, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods according to established procedures. The role involves operating forklifts and Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV), ensuring product accuracy, and maintaining safety and quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance. Key Responsibilities • Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE), • Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately, • Report all work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards, • Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations, • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), • Promote a culture of safety by watching out for team members, • Correct hazards within your control and capabilities, • Understand the environmental impact of your work and minimize negative effects, • Follow standard work, work instructions, and quality procedures, • Perform quality checks for damage and discrepancies in shipments, • Raise issues proactively to minimize cost and quality risks, • Receive incoming goods and check for damage or discrepancies, • Sort, label, and store goods efficiently to optimize space, • Operate manual and automated equipment for picking, packing, and shipping, • Maintain cycle time and performance standards, • Support timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer expectations Teamwork & Continuous Improvement • Communicate effectively with team members and support departments, • Participate in training as required by the business, • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in safety, quality, process, and material flow, • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including daily housekeeping and equipment maintenance, • Collaborate with skilled trades and support staff to maintain and report on equipment conditions, • Remain flexible to perform additional duties as required to meet operational goals Required Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent, • 1–5 years of warehouse experience, • Forklift Certification (may be required or provided on the job) Education: High School Certification: Forklift Certification Company DescriptionCompunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
