Job Description Join Our REAL Food Mission! PM Dishwasher/Utility/Porter | Location: Phoenix, AZ 85085 Compensation: $19-$22 per hour| Full-Time Schedule: Friday-Tuesday, 5:30pm-2:00am Job Summary Join our culinary team as a Dishwasher/Utility/Porter and keep the heart of the kitchen running! From sparkling dishes and spotless workspaces to assisting with deliveries and ensuring everything is in its place, you’ll play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and efficient environment for exceptional dining experiences. What You'll Do • Monitor and empty box bins and trash as needed, • Set up and clean the 3-compartment sink per sanitation standards, • Operate and maintain the dish machine, checking water levels and recording temperatures, • Wash and air-dry soiled items and equipment properly, • Sort, stack, and transport clean items to storage areas, • Sanitize tray line, belt, stainless steel surfaces, and garbage can lids, • Clean and re-rack floor mats; run filters through dish machine, • Shut down, drain, and rinse dish machine thoroughly, • Follow hygiene protocols when handling clean equipment, • Maintain cleanliness in dish room and kitchen areas, • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines consistently, • Support kitchen staff as needed, • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, • Transport food, supplies, and equipment between storage and kitchen areas, • Keep floors, hallways, and service areas clear of debris and hazards, • Perform light maintenance tasks such as wiping down carts and cleaning spills promptly, • Perform other duties as assigned What You Will Bring • 18 years or older, pending specific state requirements, • A team player with a heart for serving seniors, • Reliable and hardworking with attention to detail, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, • Commitment to cleanliness and safety, • Previous experience preferred but not required, • Commitment to providing respectful, resident-centered service, • Ability to read, speak, write and comprehend English, • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed, • Alcohol awareness certification, state specific, • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs safely, • Comfort with prolonged standing and walking throughout shifts, • Basic knowledge of safe material handling and cart operation, • Successfully pass a background check and drug screen, state specific, • Health screening and TB tests, state specific, • ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handlers Card, state specific Physical and Sensory Requirements • This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Employees must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift trays, and perform repetitive tasks.
